The full name of PM Mitra Yojana is Pradhan Mantri Mega Textile Integrated Textile and Apparel Scheme. It is a scheme made by the Government of India under which 7 textile parks will be built in India. This will make India’s textile industry even better and advance in a big way.

Objective of PM Mitra Yojana 

PM Mitra Yojana aims to disburse ₹4,445 crore and create 7 textile parks in India. The objective of this scheme is to advance the textile and manufacturing industry in India. This can be very beneficial for India.

Features of PM Mitra Yojana 

• The full name of PM Mitra Yojana is Pradhan Mantri Mega Textile Integrated Textile and Apparel Scheme.
• Seven textile parks will be built in India under this scheme.
• 4445 crores will be distributed for this scheme.
• This scheme draws inspiration from the 5F Vision of the Government of India.
• The 5F vision formulated for this plan includes the objectives of Factory to Fashion, Farm to Fiber to Foreign.
• PM Mitra Yojana will also improve employment in the textile sector. It is believed that 21 lakh jobs can be created in the textile sector due to this scheme.
• According to the government, the textile park SCORE will be built on brownfield and greenfield sites in various states of India.
• Mitra Park to be constructed on green field sites under this scheme will receive assistance of ₹ 500 crore. On the other hand, ₹ 200 crore assistance will be given to Mitra Park to be built in brownfields.
• All the friend gardens will be given ₹ 300 to motivate them for India’s Production Unit Score competition.
• Under this scheme, the Partnership for Mitra Special Purpose Vehicle will be developed in public private partnership mode.
• The Special Purpose Vehicle Public Private Partnership will be held by either the State or the Central Government.
• Under this scheme, Indian companies will be encouraged to complete globally.
