Still, the state government launched a scheme to provide free training to SC/ST students in the state. We are talking about the Student Incentive Scheme which started on 4th October 2021. What is Odisha Chhatra Protsahan Yojana?

Chhatra Protsahan Yojana is a scheme launched by the Odisha State Government. The scheme will provide free coaching to ST/SC students in the state for engineering and medical entrance exams.

Objective of Chhatra Protsahan Yojana Odisha

Chhatra Prokshaan Yojana aims to provide free training to ST/SC students in the state. It also aims to develop the capacity of ST SC students in the state.

Chhatra Protsahan Yojana Odisha Features

• ST Scheduled Caste students will be given free coaching for engineering and medical entrance exams under the Chhatra Incentive Yojana.
• Coaching will be provided free of cost through the scheme and therefore no fee will be charged from the students.
• Under this scheme, 7 Centers of Excellence have been established to provide training in schools.
• ST and SC Development Department to run centers of excellence in schools.
• Under this scheme, the students will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in class 10th.
• Students who passed out from SSD schools have to give a selection test to get free coaching.

Chhatra Protsahan Yojana Odisha Eligibility

• Chhatra Incentive Yojana will benefit only ST SC students of Odisha state.
• ST/SC students from other states will not get the benefit of this scheme.
• For getting free coaching, students will be selected based on merit obtained in class 10th.
• Free training will be given to students who pass out of SSD schools.
• Students have to go through a selection test to get coaching.

Chhatra Protsahan Yojana Odisha Document

As students will be selected on the basis of merit in class 10, they will have to show their certificates, mark sheets and class 10 documents. The student may be asked to show their SSD school pass certificate. All other information regarding important documents will be updated soon by the state government and concerned department.

Chhatra Protsahan Yojana Odisha Application

To get free coaching, students will be selected on the basis of merit obtained in class 10. Students who pass out from SSD schools will have to go through a selection test to get coaching. All other information regarding application criteria for the scheme will be provided by the state government soon.
