Binance And Upbit Announce LayerZero (ZRO) Listing

LayerZero (ZRO) Receives Major Listing Support from Binance and Upbit. On June 20, 2024, LayerZero (ZRO), an omnichain interoperability protocol, gained significant support from top crypto exchanges Binance and Upbit. This news follows a successful airdrop that generated considerable interest in the community.

Binance to List LayerZero (ZRO)

Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, announced the listing of LayerZero (ZRO) with a seed tag. The seed tag indicates that ZRO is an innovative project that may have higher volatility and risks compared to other listed tokens.

The announcement included the following spot trading pairs: ZRO/BTC, ZRO/USDT, ZRO/FDUSD, and ZRO/TRY. Users can start depositing ZRO tokens for trading at 12:00 UTC on June 20. Withdrawals will open the next day at 12:00 UTC on June 21.

Binance cautioned users about the risks associated with ZRO. “ZRO is a relatively new token that poses a higher than normal risk and will likely be subject to high price volatility. Users must exercise sufficient risk management and DYOR (do your own research) to fully understand the project before opting to trade the token,” stated Binance in their announcement.

Upbit Joins the List of Exchanges Listing ZRO

South Korea’s top crypto exchange, Upbit, has also announced the listing of ZRO. This joins other exchanges like Bybit, Gate, HTX, Bitget, OKX, MEXC, KuCoin, and Bithumb in supporting the LayerZero token.

Upbit has listed ZRO in KRW, BTC, and USDT pairs. It noted that deposits and withdrawals for LayerZero tokens are supported only through the Ethereum network. The exchange also set a lowest selling price limit for ZRO.

LayerZero Airdrop and Community Engagement

The LayerZero Foundation recently began the ZRO token airdrop claim. Bryan Pellegrino, co-founder and CEO of LayerZero Labs, revealed that 1.28 million wallets are eligible for the ZRO airdrop. This airdrop has significantly boosted community interest and engagement with the token.

With major support from leading exchanges Binance and Upbit, LayerZero (ZRO) is poised to gain massive interest from the crypto community. The listings on these platforms, coupled with the recent airdrop, suggest a promising future for ZRO. However, users are advised to conduct thorough research and exercise caution due to the potential volatility associated with this new token.
